"antichrist"

Jesus is the Messiah, the Christ son of God who was sent into the world long ago, born of a human woman, manifest in flesh. If you believe it, you are not "antichrist".

Consider the four times "antichrist" appears in the Bible carefully. You will see a common theme there, and a better understanding of "antichrist" will come, in seeing all four times together.

The Apostle John was saying to his fellow first century saints that Messiah did come, and was manifest in flesh, Jesus, but many deceivers were denying it, saying Jesus was not the Messiah, making this point well by saying, in many ways..."already in the world", "many deceivers went out into the world", "many antichrists have risen up".

Within that same generation that seen him raise the dead, heal the sick, heal the blind, cast out unclean spirits, and heard his words of life, after all that, in a later hour, well after Messiah had ascended unto the right hand of his Father, John had this to say about those who did not believe Jesus was the Christ, the Messiah. There were many, in those last days...

(LITV)
(1Jo 2:18) Little children, it is a last hour, and as you heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have risen up, from which you know that it is a last hour.

(1Jo 2:22) Who is the liar, except the one denying, saying that Jesus is not the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one denying the Father and the Son.

(1Jo 4:3) And every spirit which does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not from God; and this is the antichrist which you heard is coming, and now is already in the world.

(2Jo 1:7) Because many deceivers went out into the world, those not confessing Jesus Christ to have come in the flesh, this is the deceiver and the antichrist.

If you know and confess that Jesus is the Messiah, the Christ son of God, you are not against Christ, you are for Christ.

Truth is, there were many antichrist and many a man of sin in those last days, always denying Jesus was the Christ, and sometimes sitting as God in their own heart; in God's place, atheists, lawless people, not believing in God, claiming to be God by sitting as their own God, as God. Seven or so of such lived in Jesus' time, that wickedness of the Roman Emperors. One was particularly vicious and evil, the first to persecute Christians. His name was Nero.

Part two of this study, details concerning the man of sin, and the beasts of Revelation, and more, can be found at "Revelation, Daniel, Symbols".

But first listen. This is not a fable. God did send his son, Messiah, into the world. We have many eye witnesses, and his words and works do testify that he was the son of God, true and faithful. John went on to make his point clearer, saying...

1Jo 2:23 Everyone denying the Son does not have the Father. The one confessing the Son also has the Father.
1Jo 2:24 Then what you heard from the beginning, let it abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you will abide both in the Son and in the Father.
1Jo 2:25 And this is the promise which He promised us: everlasting life.

Believe Messiah came, He is life.

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone believing into Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world that He might judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
Joh 3:18 The one believing into Him is not condemned; but the one not believing has already been condemned, for he has not believed into the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Joh 3:19 And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than the Light, for their works were evil.
Joh 3:20 For everyone practicing wickedness hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, that his works may not be exposed.
Joh 3:21 But the one doing the truth comes to the Light, that his works may be revealed, that they exist, having been worked in God.

Believe in him, that God sent him. We call him "Jesus" in English, or "Yehoshua" in Hebrew. He is the Messiah. He is the deliverer. He is the holy heavenly power of light who sits at the right hand of the power of God. You can come out of the darkness and into the light. You can enter into the kingdom of God. It's not too late, and you don't have to wait.

You must pray to our Good Father in heaven, confess your sins, each one, realizing them and admitting them, be sorry, say your sorry, and stop doing that. Tell God you remember the time he sent his beloved son to take away the sins of the world, and ask for a pardon of your sins. You must be sincere. When you are, your request will be granted, our Good Father is very good about that, when we are sincere.

Pray. No better time than today.
