Hello Christian, Hello Israel!

Jacob was an overcomer. He prevailed with God and man. His name was changed to Israel. In Galatians 6:16, the apostle Paul refers to those who walk according to the new rule, which is Christ, as those to obtain peace and mercy from God, even the Israel of God:

Gal 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision has any strength nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.
Gal 6:16 And as many as shall walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them and on the Israel of God

Is Israel an apt name for God's Church? Do her members prevail with God? Do they rule as princes with God? Speaking in symbol, we can say that the man named Jacob represents a person who has not overcome. The man named Israel, on the other hand, represents a prevailing Christian, an over comer of sin, through Christ. It is this Christian who inherits the kingdom of God.

The Israel of God, like Jacob, prevails with God. If we can determine who the patriarchs' spiritual offspring are, we will be well on our way to understanding who the "kings" descending from Jacob are. Paul clearly establishes that Abraham's children are not necessarily his physical ones. He does this during a long discussion of God's reconciliation of Israel and the Gentiles in Romans 9 through 11, specifically in Romans 9:6-8:

"For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, "In Isaac your seed shall be called." That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed."

In Galatians 3:29, Paul tells us who these "children of the promise" are. They are Christians: "If you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

Christians, then, are the spiritual children of Abraham. Spiritually understood, the descendants of Abraham, through Isaac (Romans 9:7), through Jacob (Genesis 35:11) who inherit the promises of God.

As it was said: "Not all those of Israel are Israel". "That is, those who are counted as Israel are not the children of the flesh" of Israel, "but the children of the promise" born of spirit "who are counted for as seed". God had said "I will call those not My people, My people! And those not beloved, Beloved!" It was said to them, "You are not My people, there they will be called, Sons of the Living God." It was said, "If the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, the remnant will be saved." "Now He has brought the matter to an end, having been cut short in his righteousness", we are now covered in his righteousness, right now and forever!

Jesus gave Himself on our behalf, that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify a special people for Himself. He died on the cross and rose from the dead, cleansing mankind of sin. And after the cleansing of Jerusalem, there was redemption, in Christ, and there is righteousness. There is no "Jew" or "Gentile" requirement to be redeemed, because there was a refreshing renewal, a new Israel, and a new Jerusalem! These are born, in spirit, into a great promise!

So Christian, I felt I should write about our fellow citizenship in Christ, of how in Christ we are counted as the chosen people of God too. Before Christ, long ago, God blessed the seeds of Abraham and made a great promise to them, well many Jews believe this promise was to them, being born a Jew, born of flesh and lineage, and a promise of physical land, but I want to tell you, we Christians are counted as the seeds of Abraham too, born of spirit, not flesh, and we Christians ARE the Israel of God too, born into a New Jerusalem, the bride of Christ, the general assembly of His Church, and Christ is the groom.

There is no more Jew or Gentile requirement to be called "Gods chosen people", in Christ, we are all counted as Children of God, brothers, sisters. And I write this to you because I love you my brother, my sister, and I don't want you to believe the lies about the physical Israel, and the "end time" doctrine that leads many astray, and has caused much hardship and many wars in Israel.

I know this may be confusing, but the way the Spirit speaks is very deep, spiritual things seem to be physical and literal, but they are not.

As you know, there is One Way to the Father, and that is Christ. He was born of the tribe of Judah, of the woman who represents the 12 tribes. We are his brothers and sisters, we who believe in him, and love him. We are born into his royal family, of the woman, as seeds of Abraham, not by flesh, but of Spirit.

Imagine if to be born a Jew in Israel meant you would inherit the blessings of God, even without Christ. All one would have to do is make sure they are 100% Jew, no Gentile blood at all, and your in there, a free pass to heaven! Well, God seen a better way to fulfill his promises to the seed of Abraham, Christ was that seed, He sent His beloved Son to give birth to a people not born of flesh, but of spirit! A marriage of spirit, not flesh.

Of course, there is no "Jewish escape clause", for a sinner to inherit eternal life without Christ, or to be called "God's chosen people" without cleansing, accepting the salvation of God, that God has offered to all mankind through Christ. Those who belong to Christ are God's chosen people. If an unrighteous Jew, a sinner, will believe Yehoshua is the son of God, accepting that gift of salvation, that Jew will be saved from the curse of the law, which is death. Same for the tiger around her, and every mind there is or will ever be.

Christian, the righteous Jew is your brother. You know it's true, yes you do. There are two trees of fresh oil, and the same oil runs into the same seven lamps. Christians are the light of the world, yes, they are. Christian, only you can lead the unrighteous Jew, a sinner, to the safe haven of the door to life. Do not hate your brother. If they will knock, he will open. When he opens the door for your brother, a brother you steered away from certain death, he will surely hold the door open for you. He is the door even, the door can only be open. There is one sure way to win a Fathers heart, love his son. It works every time. He is the door to the kingdom of God, and yes, it is God's kingdom. The one you seek is most holy, he sits at the right hand of the power of God as King of kings and Lord of lords. You will know his name and call him by his name, and he will answer you and call you by your name, and you will know his Father, and he will love you.

Yes, Israel is an apt designation for God's church; the Israel of God.

This high court and kingdom of God was established by Jesus the Christ, made high priest of God, the groom of a new Israel born of a new Jerusalem. She is the mother of us all, the bride of Christ, and the general assembly of His Church. These are the true seeds of Abraham, born of spirit, not flesh, born of a promise, not in bondage, but born free, free as the wind blows, as free as the grass grows, as the sands of the sea...

[Galatians 4:22-26] For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which engendereth to bondage, which is Hagar. For this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

[Hebrews 12:22-24] But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Lion, come. Drink of the living water. You will know who is King of kings, and you will know his proud Father, and he will know you, and he will love you. Come to the promised land, the kingdom of God, and to his throne, into his special, powerful, and immediate protection, now, and forever. Hear the message of salvation, the message everyone needs to hear.

The Israel of God was not established in 1948. It was established a long time before that.
