The Throne of David

The "Throne of David" was once a place on Earth where Solomon sat:

1Kings 2:12 Then sat Solomon upon the throne of David his father; and his kingdom was established greatly.

God blessed the "Throne of David" and established it before his throne forever:

1Ki 2:45 And king Solomon shall be blessed, and the throne of David shall be established before the LORD for ever.

Jesus was BORN to establish his throne and kingdom, He did not come to sit in a little chair in Judah called the throne of David, this IS an everlasting kingdom, a princely reign from heaven:

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

FOREVER has no end, and such a Throne was established in Heaven where it would not rot, not a little chair called a throne on Earth that can rot or be destroyed:

Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

The Pharisees had read the prophecies of ol', and were expecting the Messiah to establish an earthly Kingdom and earthly reign, they were intimidated by Jesus thinking He would boot them off their little chairs called thrones, but Jesus said his Kingdom and reign are not of this world, Please don't make that same mistake:

John 12:34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth forever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?
:35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
:36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

Jesus answered:

Joh 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Joh 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Jesus was BORN to establish this Kingdom, and it is an everlasting kingdom that was established when Christ ascended into Heaven:

Daniel 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
Dan 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Ancient of Days = Father
Son of Man = Son

Note: came "to" the Ancient of days to receive his kingdom, not "from". Where is the Ancient of Days? In Heaven. Thus the Scripture speaks of Christ's ascension. And what happened when He ascended? He was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all people, nations and languages should serve Him and it is everlasting.

Exo 15:18 The LORD shall reign forever and ever.

It Is Written:

Mat 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Being that Christ will receive us unto himself, he comes to take us where he is, He does not come here to live. As a matter of fact, the kingdom of God is within us:

Luk 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21] Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
22] And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.

PART TWO: The Kingdom of God, what a mysterious thing!

(KJV Dictionary)
Mat_6:33; Mat_12:28; Mat_19:24; Mat_21:31; Mat_21:43; Mar_1:14; Mar_1:15; Mar_4:11; Mar_4:26; Mar_4:30; Mar_9:1; Mar_9:47; Mar_10:14; Mar_10:15; Mar_10:23; Mar_10:24; Mar_10:25; Mar_12:34; Mar_14:25; Mar_15:43; Luk_4:43; Luk_6:20; Luk_7:28; Luk_8:1; Luk_8:10; Luk_9:2; Luk_9:11; Luk_9:27; Luk_9:60; Luk_9:62; Luk_10:9; Luk_10:11; Luk_11:20; Luk_12:31; Luk_13:18; Luk_13:20; Luk_13:28; Luk_13:29; Luk_14:15; Luk_16:16; Luk_17:20; Luk_17:21; Luk_18:16; Luk_18:17; Luk_18:24; Luk_18:25; Luk_18:29; Luk_19:11; Luk_21:31; Luk_22:16; Luk_22:18; Luk_23:51; Joh_3:3; Joh_3:5; Act_1:3; Act_8:12; Act_14:22; Act_19:8; Act_20:25; Act_28:23; Act_28:31; Rom_14:17; 1Co_4:20; 1Co_6:9; 1Co_6:10; 1Co_15:50; Gal_5:21; Col_4:11; 2Th_1:5;

All this talk about "the kingdom of God"! The Pharisees [demanded] an answer now! This verse says a whole lot, but for now, notice what the LORD said about the kingdom of God this time:

*[Luke 17:20-24] And when he (JESUS) was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is [ * within ] you. And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

Just as the lightning lights up the sky all around you, so too is the kingdom of God. Not here or there, but everywhere. Not in buildings made of wood or stone, but within you and all around you. Jesus, He reigns in the kingdom of God, the kingdom is inside of me.

"The kingdom is inside of me"...What does that mean?

*G1787 ἐντός entos en-tos' - From G1722; inside (adverb or noun): - within.

The Greek word used for "within" in Luke 17:21 means "inside".

The new Jerusalem is the Church, the general assembly of Christ, prepared as a bride:

(KJV) *Hebrews 12:22-24 But ye are come unto [mount Zion], and unto [the city] of the living God, [the heavenly Jerusalem], and to an innumerable [company of angels], To [the general assembly and church] of the firstborn, which are written [in heaven], and to God the Judge of all, and to [the spirits of just men made perfect], And [to Jesus] the mediator of the [new covenant], and to the [blood of sprinkling], that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

She is the bride of the Lamb, the general assembly and Church of Christ. She is not made of rocks, but Christ is the chief cornerstone, and the 12 apostles are foundation stones, not bricks or giant gemstones, but PRECIOUS stones anointed with the blood of sprinkling.

(KJV) Rev 21:1-2 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

There was a new "kingdom" of God, a new "heaven", and a new earth age in Christ. All flesh did not die, praise God. All people and nations who have the light of Christ bring their light into this kingdom of God that did not come with observation, and the will of God is done on earth as it is in heaven. Pray that it will be:

(KJV) *[Rev 21:24] And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honor into it.

How do you get in?

(KJV) *[Rev 22:14] Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Come all ye faithful, right through the front door.

(KJV) *[Rev 22:17] And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

There is no cost. Christ has absorbed the debt!

(KJV) John 4:13-14 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Christ is the water of life, the healing of the nations, the resurrection and the life. You believe in the Father, believe also in the son, all power was given to the Son in heaven and on earth. He sees to it that justice is done. He is merciful. He does not force obedience upon all mankind, but he reigns over us with mercy, by the spirit of the Lord, not by might or power.

(KJV) John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Jesus, He reigns in the kingdom of God, the kingdom is inside of me. The kingdom of God, what a mysterious thing! A further reading of all the parables Jesus spoke of the kingdom of God will reveal much. I recommend a complete study concerning everything Jesus said about The Kingdom Of God.

PART THREE- ZION is not a dirt hill:

Isa 40:9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain;O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

When the Holy Spirit spoke through Isaiah to mankind in this great riddle and said "O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain", our God told"Zion" to get up into the "high mountain". How then can this Zion be a dirt hill? Dirt hills don't move around or even go to Heaven!

Of course The Almighty was speaking to Jerusalem to receive His beloved Son, John the Baptist prepared the way for the LORD, that vital house of character, that high "mountain" and "Chief Officer", the "head" of the kingdom of God, even the LORD, The One we call JESUS.

Isaiah 40:10 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. ( Fulfilled prophecy, concerning John the Baptist and Christ. See Matthew 3:3)

This is such a high and mighty mountain that it cannot be touched by any "beast", it is a spiritual mountain, a heavenly Zion:

Heb 12:18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
Heb 12:19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard entreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
Heb 12:20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
Heb 12:21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
Heb 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
Heb 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Heb 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

This high and mighty mountain is the Sanctuary of the LORD, this heavenly Zion has a sure foundation that will never crumble, The Chief Cornerstone is Christ, that's why. It shall NEVER crumble like dirt or rocks. This Zion IS a spiritual mountain, not a dirt hill:

Exo 15:17 Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established.

The "mountain" that Christ was to inherit was the kingdom of His Father, He was seated at the right hand of the power of God and was crowned King of kings. This high place of power was prepared by Christ and is called the kingdom of God and the Lamb. He reigns now and forever:

Exo 15:18 The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.

Do you still believe this "Zion" is a dirt hill? A dirt hill where a giant Jesus in the flesh will stand with a foot on each side of two dirt hills and will split apart two dirt hills with a hundred and forty four thousand blessed firstfruit saints who deserve to be in the highest heaven with the Lord even now and forever, but you say are still in their graves?

The Lord God Almighty is above all this and knows how to welcome His guests of honor. These are spiritual things! As surely as Christ sits at the right hand of the power of God in the highest heaven now and forever, these blessed hundred and forty four thousand are even now with God and Christ in the highest heaven now and forever!

As surely as Christ sits at the right hand of the power of God in the highest heaven now and forever, the twelve apostles sit on their thrones of judgment, even now with God and Christ and the "144,000" firstfruits, and those who died and became priests of God and Christ in the kingdom of God.

The "mountain" that Christ was to inherit was the kingdom of His Father, a new heaven, for the old heaven suffered violence up until the days of John the Baptist. JESUS was seated at the right hand of the power of God and was crowned King of kings. This high place of power was prepared by Christ and is called the Holy City, the kingdom of God and the Lamb, a new Jerusalem. Jesus, He reigns now and forever. When one is given a kingdom, that one surely reigns within it! It is surely a spiritual kingdom, a kingdom of spirits of men made perfect through the blood of sprinkling.

Say it with me, please...

I pledge allegiance...To the God...Of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob...And to the kingdom...For which Christ stands...ALL nations...Under God...Invincible...With liberty and justice for all. AMEN
